If you bird has been chewing on any plant material and exhibits any of these signs consider it a life threatening emergency and proceed to your avian vet immediately. It is very helpful to take a sample of what your parrot has been chewing or playing with. Meanwhile keep your bird quiet, warm and in a darkened environment if possible while transporting to the vet.
